My town’s musical selections are pretty lame. I mean, my parents are happy with the choices on the radio, but all they ever listen to is country music. My younger sister is constantly glued in front of the TV, singing along with Hannah Montana or the Jonas Brothers since she is a Disney Freak. I can’t stand it and no one in this town understands me, let alone anyone in this house.

I don’t consider myself a musician but I write a lot of poetry. Until I discover someone to team up with, my dream about my words becoming the lyrics to songs someday isn’t going to happen. Someone with great musical talent.

Whenever I lay across my bed with my ear buds on, listening to IMRadio.com, my parents think I’m just being lazy. But the time that I spend sampling the different songwriters and bands who have posted their audio files on this site is really an investment in my future. The things that I hear and like are noted. I hear things that I don’t like, so I take note.
